  • Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good gift for an officiant?
The best officiant gifts are personalized keepsakes that thank him for the work he put into the ceremony. Engraved whiskey decanters with his name and the date, custom leather wallets engraved with a thank-you on the inside, and personalized watches with the wedding date on the back all land well. Skip the gag gifts and go for items he will actually keep on his desk or pour from at home.
How much should I spend on an officiant gift?
Most people spend $50 to $150 on an officiant gift depending on the relationship. For a friend or family member ordained for the day, $50 to $100 covers a meaningful gift like engraved whiskey glasses or a personalized wallet. For a pastor, priest, or minister you have known for a while, $75 to $150 makes sense for a custom decanter set, engraved cufflinks, or a curated gift box. For a hired wedding officiant, $50 to $100 covers a thank-you beyond the contract rate.
What do you get an officiant who is also a friend?
For a friend ordained for the day, the right gift respects the work without leaning too sentimental. Engraved whiskey glasses with the wedding date, a personalized leather wallet with his initials, a custom photo frame with a shot of him pronouncing you married, or the Everyday Carry Gift Set with three to five personalized items inside. The friend-officiant gifts that work best are the ones that prove you noticed how much he did to pull it off.
Is it appropriate to give a clergy officiant a personal gift?
Yes, especially when the gift is thoughtful and respects his role. Custom keepsake boxes with the ceremony date and a short thank-you, engraved photo frames, personalized watches with the date on the back, or a monogrammed leather dopp kit for the travel he does all work well for a pastor, priest, or minister. Sentimental and useful beats novelty for clergy officiants.
When should I give the officiant the gift?
Most couples give the officiant the gift either at the rehearsal dinner the night before, right after the ceremony, or with a handwritten card a few days after the wedding. Giving it at the rehearsal makes the gift feel like part of the wedding rather than an afterthought. If you are shipping it, time the delivery to land within two weeks of the wedding so the moment is still fresh.
    How long does delivery take?

Most orders ship out of our Connecticut office within 1 to 3 business days. From there, delivery time depends on where you're located.

Customers closer to the Northeast typically receive their orders faster, while those further away can expect a few extra days in transit.

    What is your return policy?

We want you to love your purchase. If something isn't right, reach out to us within 30 days of your order and we'll do everything we can to make it right.

Because personalized items are made specifically for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on customized orders. However, if we make an error on your personalization, we will replace the item at no cost to you, no questions asked.

For non-personalized items, we're happy to accept returns within 30 days as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging.
