    The lid does the talking. His wedding role runs across the top of the shield, the draft year sits under it, and his name lands at the bottom, the way a pick reads coming off the board. He knows what you are asking before he lifts it.

    Inside are three pieces he keeps long after the wedding. The bi-fold is genuine leather with a pull tab that slides his most used card out in one motion and a money clip behind it. The can cooler is football grain faux leather with the shield cut into the front, sized for a standard 12 oz can. The bar blade is the same speed opener bartenders reach for, a solid metal core wrapped in leather.

    Every piece carries his name, so six boxes means six different guys, not six of the same gift.

    How to Personalize

    1. Enter his first name. It is engraved on the wallet, the bottle opener and the can cooler shield, and printed on the box lid.
    2. Choose his wedding role. It prints across the top of the shield on the lid.
    3. Add the draft year you want printed under the role.
    4. Repeat the order for each guy in your wedding party so every box carries the right name.

    Do I need to order one box for each groomsman?
    Yes. Every box is engraved and printed for one person, so add one to the cart for each guy and enter his own name and role. That is the whole point of doing it this way instead of handing out six identical gifts. Put them in a single order and they are engraved and packed together.
    Can each box have a different role, like Best Man and Usher?
    Yes. The role is set per box, so the best man's lid can read Best Man while the rest read Groomsman, and Usher, Officiant, Ring Bearer or Groom all work on the others. Change the role each time you add a box to the cart.
    Which year goes on the lid, this year or the wedding year?
    Most people use the wedding year so the lid reads like the draft class he was picked for. If you are asking well ahead of the day and want it to mark the moment you handed it over, use the current year instead. We print exactly what you type.
    Is the shield on the lid in color?
    Yes. The shield on the box lid is printed in full color, the same blue and gold you see in the photos. The marks on the wallet, the can cooler and the bottle opener are laser engraved in a single tone, cut into the leather so they read dark against the natural grain.
    Can I use a nickname or a last name instead of his first name?
    Yes. Whatever you type is what we engrave, so a nickname, a last name, or a first and last name all work. Shorter entries engrave larger and read better on the bottle opener, which is the narrowest of the three pieces.

    Got these for my brother’s bachelor party for all the guys. They are very well made. My only thing I would say is that they are thick for golf ball markers. I would consider cutting them down about half the height of what they are. We are all big golfers and they would interfere on the greens if you use them. Just my honest opinion.     My husband got this for his groomsmen a few years ago but was silly and didn't get himself one.
